Activities

Arrochar is the perfect base for touring, head west to Inverary, Oban and the West Highlands or in the opposite direction to Callander, Aberfoyle, Stirling and the Trossachs – all within the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park.

There are numerous local walks as well as more demanding hill climbs to enjoy within the “Arrochar Alps” (four munros – mountains over 3000ft) as well as the famous Ben Arthur, commonly known as “The Cobbler”.  Argyll Forest Park has extensive mountain bike routes to enjoy.

Enjoy a cruise on Loch Lomond – only 2 miles away, go fishing, play golf or take a flight on Loch Lomond’s Seaplane or visit one of the many attractions in the area… or just relax on your private deck at the waters edge in the hope of experiencing a visit from one of the local seals, while enjoying the natural beauty that surrounds you.

The West Highland rail line stops at Tarbet Station, 1.5 miles away, taking in the beauty of Glencoe to Fort William or Mallaig, passing over the historic Glenfinnan viaduct on your journey North.

Ardmay Lodge is a short drive away to many of Loch Lomond’s popular wedding venues.

Glasgow Airport is 45 minutes by car.
